Here's the Deal...

The last couple of weeks have been so busy and so exciting! I have TONS to post, but I moved in with a friend last week to finish out my time here in Portland and I haven't found time yet to put all of my pictures and what not that I want to blog on my external so that I can do a post on her compy. I'm sorry!! There will certainly be a very long post...or multiple little ones as soon as I get back to Vegas! Can you believe I'm already going home? I'm actually quite sad about it now too because I've made some great freinds and we're having a lot of fun. Why does that always seem to happen at the end?! Well, regardless of when it happened, I'm grateful for the friends I've made here because they are amazing! I had a floral design class last week (which I need to update on my other blog too), and one more tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to the one I have tomorrow because I think it will be the true indicator of how far I've come in my creativity and what I've learned. We'll see how it goes. My mom also flies in tomorrow night and then we're going to do a drive out to the coast, and play in Portland for a couple of days. Saturday morning I'm officially off to Las Vegas! I'm in such an array of emotions right now. I'm sad to leave, excited to get home, nervous about starting my new life, and curious about what the next steps will bring. We shall see! Portland has been an amazing experience for me and I feel like I've grown a lot in the last few months. It was definitely the little break I needed to re-discover and re-evaluate myself and what I want out of life. I think I'm through my quarter-life crisis and am ready to move on. I'll be 26 in a few months and I guess I'm finally ready to be a grown-up (well, as grown up as I can be, anyway!). I've even made goals and everything! I never do that! Anyway, enough of this boring stuff. I'm going to finish out my week here and then I promise lots and lots of pictures and fun posts!
