Here It Is!

Here's the post you've all been waiting for! Seriously, I know I'm such a slacker but my life has finally slowed down a bit and I can get some serious blogging done. Where to begin..? The weddings have been going really well and I'm having a lot of fun and keeping really busy. My roommate, Liz, from college got married at the beginning of the month and it was so much fun to get together with the girls again. We went to the reception in Cedar City the night before the wedding and then drove to Manti for the sealing. That temple is so beautiful! Liz and George were sooo cute and sooo happy! I'm so excited for them.

Even Paige made it down for the wedding and it was so good to see her too!

The week after Liz's wedding was super fun and exciting too! My little brother, Michael came home from his mission in New York on the 11th! Matt and Renee surprised us and came down a day early so they could come to the airport, and Grandpa flew in a couple days before too. We had signs and balloons and Michael got to meet Jonas for the first time, which was so cute!

The day after Michael got home I turned the big 2-6. I have this fear of turning 27 and 26 just brings me one year closer, so I didn't want to do a ton this year. It was a pretty kick back day, but also a lot of fun. Michael, Grandpa Heggie, Dad and Mom surprised me at work and brought balloons and a princess tiara - which I wore all day! I went to the Olive Garden for lunch with the whole family and then my friends took me out for sushi for dinner. It was seriously fantastic and I'm so happy I have such good friends and family who made my birthday so fun! I got cupcakes and earrings and a camera and gift cards and good times. AND to top the whole night off, I won $300 at Bingo!!! Megan totally showed me up and won $500 though. Happy Birthday to me!

Then, to top the whole week off my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Joni, came home for the weekend and went through the temple. It really was an amazing day and I've never seen her more happy. She was honestly glowing. Seriously, I teared up so many times because it makes me so happy when I see my friends in the temple. It's an awesome thing to be there together.


Ok, last but not least Matt and Renee left us and went back to Idaho. I'm always so sad when they leave because it's so nice to have them here. Jonas has turned into such a little ham and we pretty much think everything he does is adorable! So...that's pretty much been my month in a nutshell and I am definitely going to be better with keeping up on the blog bc this post is ridiculously long!
