Holy Freaking Birthday Party!

Let me just start by saying that I had the best 25th birthday in the whole world! It will definitely go down in history! We started partying Friday night, and didn't stop until Tuesday. It was fantastic!! Joni came in to town Friday night and met up with us at Carnival Court downtown at Harrah's, and we danced until practically 3am. Then the girls stayed the night at Missy and Megan's house and we definitely didn't go to bed until after 6am! Don't worry that I didn't get a nap on Saturday either!

Ok, so on Saturday I watched Jonas in the morning and then did some cleaning, etc....boring! Saturday night we went to the park for a ward activity and played Red Rover and Duck, Duck, Goose and it was seriously the most fun I've had playing those games in a really long time. I don't care how old you are, those games are fun!! After that we got a huge painters tarp and gathered up the crew to go slip n slide at the park by my house. We kind of have to unlock the sprinklers to do it - slightly illegal, but whatever! When we were setting up the slide, there were a bunch of kids getting drunk in the basin of the park, but they were just watching and laughing at us, until one kid decided to be tough and try to get all of our guy friends to fight him. He was totally drunk and all up in their faces. Finally some of his mutually drunk friends got him to back off, but by that time we were all freezing and the buzz of the party had worn off. Big Jerk! He ruined my birthday!!

So, after we left the park we went back to Missy and Megan's and ate the awesome cake they made me. I won't lie, I definitely picked it out, but they did all the hard work. I loved it! I felt like I was turning 5 instead of 25!

Um, don't worry that I totally forgot to make a wish!

Sunday was fun too. We went to church, which was weird because they just split our ward and I seriously only have like 5 friends in the ward now. Oh well, I'll make more! I'm a friendly gal! I taught RS and my lesson went really well. I was very pleased with it. After church we all played games at this girl Melinda's house, and then proceeded to Missy and Megan's to play Singstar for the third night in a row! I'm not gonna lie, that is a fun game! Some of our guy friends were really getting into it and were determined to become the SingStar!

I'm pretty sure none of us went to bed before 2:00am, and we all had to work the next day. I was dying at work! I had to resort to getting an energy drink.

Mitchel's high school graduation was on Monday, so I went to that and then to dinner with the family. It was really fun! We had a joint birthday/graduation dinner. Then I went back over to Missy's to watch a movie, when I really should have gone home to bed. I actually fell asleep on the floor for like an hour anyway!

Wow, so finally, Tuesday was my birthday. We went to sushi at my favorite place - Nagoya - and then went back to my parent's house for cake and ice cream. Mom made an awesome cake and we had a blast! I don't think my parent's are used to that much chaos! After cake and ice cream, we went back to Missy and Megan's and played Singstar, and yes, Josh Mojica finally made his dreams come true by becoming the SingStar, and Matt came pretty close!! All in all, fabulous birthday, but I'm definitely going to need some recovery time!
