Fun weekend...well, fun week

I had such a fun week, this week! I got a random text last Sunday from a new guy in our ward from Valencia, CA and I have hung out with him and his friends almost every day this week. They are so much fun, and pretty darn cool! We played games at Melinda's Sunday night, went and saw Pirates Monday night, went longboarding Tuesday night (as I said in my last post) and my thumb still hurts way bad! I don't know if I'm just a wuss or what! I can't even touch my pinky to my thumb, though! Oh well... Wednesday I went to the temple, as usual, and it was a really good night. We had a bunch of people show up, which was great, and the Temple President spoke to us for about 20 minutes before our session. It was fantastic! I went and watched a movie with the California boys after the temple, and then Thursday night I watched SYTYCD with Megan, and then watched another movie with the boys later. Friday night I babysat Jonas for a couple of hours while Matt helped somebody move, and he was sooo cute! Grandma helped me give him a bath, then he ate, talked to me for like an hour, and then we had a nice little nap in the recliner. Later Friday night I went bowling with a little group at the new lanes at Red Rock, which were pretty sweet. None of us were entirely very good, but it's always fun to go bowling and make fools of ourselves! Heck, I take any opportunity to make a fool of myself ! Oh yeah, and we met Maren's boyfriend there. ;) He's clearly the one in the white tank top. So hot!

So, Saturday I slept in and then ran errands with Megan before we went to Patrick's house for a swim party. Oh man! I haven't been swimming for ages, and we had a blast! Missy was loving the goggles, and who can blame her? They're pretty sexy!

Here is my Canadian counterpart, David, trying to ride the boogie board in the pool. Quite talented, I must admit. I think that's just a general Canadian trait, though - to be very talented, among many other things!

Oh yeah, and we stole our friend Matt's towel....I forget why he has a Canadian flag towel. He's not even Canadian! P.S. I realize I look really, super hot after an entire night of swimming. You really don't have to tell me.

So, after the big swim party I went and vegged out with the Cali boys again. I forget how tiring swimming can be, even though we were mostly just messing around the whole time. I think the human train down the slide took a lot out of me!
