100 Random Things About Me!

I totally stole Lindsay's idea and made a list! I loved her blog entry though and I thought it was a fun idea. So, here goes...

1. I don’t eat blue candies or drinks.
2. I consider myself a drama free person.
3. Sometimes if I see something really pretty I feel like I want to lick it. Does that mean I have an oral fixation?!
4. I could never be high maintenance. I prefer medium maintenance.
5. I always have to AT LEAST wear mascara because I have blonde eyelashes.
6. Sometimes I feel like my degree in psychology has ruined my social skills.
7. I wish I were better at snowboarding and longboarding, but the truth is I’m afraid that if I get too crazy and adventurous I’ll break something!
8. I have a phobia of being bigger than guys, so I usually date taller guys so that I feel smaller.
9. I lived with 22 different girls in college, and in 4 different apartments.
10. I am the only girl in my family and I love it!
11. I always cry when anybody’s mother dies; in real life or movies.
12. I actually don’t cry very often, but sometimes I get on a streak and it seems like everything makes me emotional, especially dance.
13. I always wished I would have been in dance when I was younger.
14. I figure skated when I lived in Canada and I loved it.
15. I was born in Canada and lived there 13 years.
16. I lived in Paris for 4-5 months as a nanny.
17. I never thought I would be 25 and still single.
18. My mom and I designed my temple dress, and she made it. I think it’s the prettiest dress I own.
19. I don’t have to be the center of attention all the time…but sometimes it’s fun!
20. I like being silly with my friends.
21. I love to laugh.
22. I have a gift for calming babies down.
23. When I was in elementary school I wanted to be a model and an actress.
24. I had a blast in high school, but I wouldn’t do it again.
25. I love music, but I like other people to find the good stuff for me. I’m too lazy to find all that great underground stuff!
26. I love guy’s hands. I love when they have calluses and blisters and look like they’ve been used. I don’t like girly hands.
27. I practically never get sick, so when I do I get really annoyed.
28. We never got much sympathy growing up when we were sick, so I have a hard time feeling bad for someone when they’re milking the illness.
29. When I have kids, I wouldn’t mind having all boys and maybe one girl (like my family!). Boys are so much easier!
30. I think I’m a pretty friendly person.
31. I hate being late. I would rather be early for something and wait for a little while, than be late and make people wait.
32. I’m slightly impatient, but I’m working on it!
33. I’m not much of an animal person, but I think puppies are cute.
34. Birds freak me out.
35. I always wanted to name my kids really crazy names when I was younger, but now I think the more normal, the better!
36. I think my nephew, Jonas, is the cutest and sweetest baby in the whole world!
37. I’m kind of a grammar freak.
38. I wish I was a better singer.
39. I have only truly been in love once.
40. I wish I was one of those people who loved working out. I like it, but I mostly do it to stay healthy.
41. I gained 30 pounds in 4-5 months when I lived in France – hence why we refer to it as “Fat Francia.”
42. I lost all the Fat Francia weight as soon as I got home, but now I’m way more aware of how I take care of myself.
43. I’ve only lost 3 people who have been really close to me and they have all been within the last 2 years.
44. I have moved houses way too many times to count, but I like the change.
45. I like my curly hair, but I can never decide if I like it better long or short.
46. I love being a redhead.
47. I only recently got into the Harry Potter books and instantly became a freak fan!
48. I love to read.
49. I don’t wear shoes when I drive…or when I’m sitting at my desk.
50. I love doing yoga.
51. I was always jealous of my cousin Shelly growing up, because she was so artistically gifted. Now I’m so proud of her and what she has accomplished.
52. I like fashion and I consider myself a pretty snappy dresser, but sometimes I wish I could be more daring. I want to be, but I’m afraid I can’t pull it off.
53. I miss my brothers so much now that they’re on missions.
54. My family has always gotten along pretty well because we’re rarely ever serious.
55. My family and I are very sarcastic and we like to tease each other, and anyone else who joins the family. Sorry Renee!
56. I basically work at Dunder Mifflin. Fantastic.
57. I have worked at my current job longer than I’ve worked at any other job.
58. I get confused when I try to use an ipod.
59. I have a very short internet attention span.
60. I shop like a guy. I know what I want, if it’s not in the store then I leave. If it is, then I buy it quickly and leave.
61. I had a severe shopping addiction when I worked at the GAP. I have trained myself now, so I’m not so bad. I usually just go on binges every few months.
62. I love babies.
63. I like peanut butter and cheez whiz sandwiches. I know it’s gross.
64. I made up a million recipes for things you can make in a sandwich maker in college.
65. I LOVE cupcakes.
66. The summer I lived with Matt and Renee I only ate chicken salad sandwiches, grapes, and rice krispie treats – Renee is the Rice Krispie master!
67. I love flowers.
68. My favorite flowers are gerber daisies. They’re such a happy flower!
69. I want to own my own floral shop.
70. I am NO GOOD at DDR. I don’t know…something to do with eye-foot coordination or something.
71. I was outcasted when I was in elementary school (who wasn’t), but I hated that feeling so I strive in life to make sure nobody else ever feels that way.
72. I have never won Bingo, no matter how many times I’ve played!
73. I love winter, because I love sweaters and snowboarding.
74. I’ve only been in one accident, and it was about a year ago when Megan was with me and I totaled my Rodeo, which was the first car I ever bought on my own.
75. I’m afraid of the ocean because of the currents, and I’m afraid the critters are going to bite me.
76. I wasn’t afraid to swim in the Mediterranean Sea off the French Riviera, or in the ocean in Hawaii.
77. I have bungee jumped, which I never thought I’d do.
78. I want to sky dive.
79. I’m slightly afraid of man-made heights. I don’t trust them for some reason.
80. I don’t mind natural heights, like mountains.
81. Sometimes I snort if I’m laughing really hard. It’s a Heggie family trait.
82. I’ve thought about becoming a grief counselor.
83. I lived alone for a year and I loved it.
84. I’m more of a chapstick gal, than a lipstick gal. I love Burt’s Bees.
85. I saw Wicked in London, and it was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen!
86. I have lived in the USA for 12 years now.
87. I can never get my directions straight – left from right. I always have to make the L’s with my hands.
88. My friends don’t let me drive at night because I can’t really see in the dark. I mean, I can if I put my glasses on.
89. We used to go 80’s dancing every Wednesday night, and now it’s not at the Suncoast anymore. I miss it.
90. Neither of my best friends lives in Las Vegas anymore, but I still keep in great touch with both of them.
91. I love to travel.
92. I used to hate pink when I was younger, but the older I get the more I embrace it.
93. I love to wear high heels to work and church. They make me feel sassy!
94. I hate seafood, but I love sushi.
95. I would rather be cold and bundle up, than be hot and sweaty. You can always put more on when you’re cold, but you can only take so much off when you’re hot.
96. I like make-up, and I wish I was better at doing mine. I don’t like to wear a lot, I just like to play with eyeshadows.
97. I love Christmas.
98. I like to snuggle.
99. I would much rather be up in the mountains than down on the beach. I think it might have something to do with my fair skin and how easily I burn.
100. I was told in high school once that I’m not rude, I’m just outspoken.
