Remember when you were in elementary school and you kept thinking "Gosh, I can't wait until I'm a grown up and my parents won't tell me what to do anymore. I can do whatever I want!"
Remember when you were in high school and you kept thinking, "Gosh, I can't wait until I'm in college and I can make my own schedule. No more getting up early for me!"
Remember when you were in college and you kept thinking, "Gosh, I can't wait until I graduate. I'll have so much free time when I'm just working 8:00-5:00 every day! Being an adult will be awesome!"
What happened to that?? How come nobody told us about all the other stuff you have to do when you're an adult? Nobody mentioned church callings, running businesses, supporting relationships, keeping full time jobs, maintaining social lives, paying bills, being parents, holidays...
Yeesh! They could at least give us more than 24hr days, don't you think?? What a rip off...
I think I choose the days of the Easter Bunny and Santa and recess...yup, I choose that. Anyone else?

You're so funny!!
And Amen. I wish someone sat me down and showed me their bills and said, "You sure you want a communications degree?"
Ha!
the funny thing is that if anyone had sat us down to explain everything we go through now on a daily basis as "adults" we would have laughed and thought that it sounded better than whatever stage we were currently in! i totally agree though - recess and santa and the easter bunny for sures :)
