Oh man! I had so much fun in Canada. I'm not gonna lie - I'm sad to be back in Vegas. It was a really fun, but a really quick trip, and I didn't get to see as many people as I wanted to, but sometimes that's what happens. I flew in to Calgary where Carter picked me up and we drove straight to Kicking Horse, BC to go snowboarding. Carter is crazy, and we had soooo much fun! It's pretty much the biggest hill I've ever ridden, but I picked up some new skills and reincarnated my friendly Canadian charm. After we bummed on the ski hill for two days, we went back to Calgary and I hung out w/ Bishop's, and got to see my Aunt Susan and part of her family for a few hours. I hitch-hiked my way down to Claresholm and saw my Heggie grandparents, and then continued to hitch my way to Raymond where I met up w/ the rest of my fam. We spent time with my Brandley grandparents, and then bounced back and forth between the two sets of grandparents for the next couple of days. It was so good to see them again. I really need to try and get home more often than every 3 years!
Sadly, I didn't get to see Shelly or pretty much any of my other cousins. I did get to see Lindsay Steed (oops Baldry) for a while, and it was so fun to chat with her while I was there. If you've ever checked out her blog, Alli is even cuter in person than in the pics, which seems impossible! Anyway, it was fun to get back home and back to the little town I grew up in. Weird that I've almost been in Vegas as long as I was in Canada. We got to talk to Mark and Mike on their missions, which was also very cool, and they're both doing really well. They haven't lost their senses of humor either - in fact, I think Michael's gotten funnier! Anyway, it was a weird Christmas w/ just Mitchel and I as the only kids, but it was still fun. Ok, longest blog ever. I hope everyone had a fun holiday season! The end. :)

Mitchel and I in Grandma Heggie's wigs

Seriously, I'm rockin' the mullet!

Me with Grandma and Grandpa Brandley. They're so cute!

For all my American friends - this is a real Canadian slurpee! Note the density. None of that wasted space w/ air crap you get at 7-11! These suckers are juicy!

It was soooo good to see you again, even though the visit was much too short. I can't beleive we didn't take a picture together (well I can because I was all hidious and you were all cute.) Do you remember everyday after school in grade 7 stopping at Krickets and getting the little 35 cent slurpees, those were the days. And for how hot it is down there I am so sorry that you have the knowledge of the delicious Canadian slurpees, but cannot partake on a regular basis.
Why....why??? The wigs.... Pretty much the greatest things that I have ever seen in my life. I love the mullet look on you. You should definitely start rocking that look! Oh and P.S. I love you little brother!! Wink.
