Brace yourselves, this one got long. Ok, I had a SUPER fun weekend on Friday and Saturday! Friday night I went to a party with my friends out in Henderson and it was a BLAST! It was pretty much the first party of the summer and tons of people were in town. It was so crowded we could hardly move, let alone dance, but we made it happen. Seriously, so fun. I saw a bunch of people I haven't seen for a while, so it was fantastic.
Saturday I went shopping with my mom, my Aunt Tonya, and my mom's best friend, Nola. It was fun and I found some super sassy green high heels! We played with Jonas, and then took pics of Mitchel's prom group. They had a Huge group and they rented a party bus, so they had a lot of fun...maybe too much! ;) I think Mitchel and Angie were the cutest couple.
After we bombarded Mitchel and his friends with picture-taking, I went over to Missy and Megan's and we had a Cinqo de Mayo dinner. It was delicious, and I had Horchata for the first time, which was actually pretty tasty!
After dinner we headed over to our friend Josh's house for a Cinqo de Mayo party and I'm not gonna lie, it was probably more fun than the party the night before, and not just because we put it on and all our friends were there. :) Or maybe that's exactly why. No, it's because Patrick was in charge of getting the pinata and he did a Kick-A job! It was a boot, filled with little cans of dog food, tiny magic 8 balls, gold medals, little waterguns, and candy, of course. What was even more fantastic than the prizes, if that's possible, was the breaking of the pinata. I had the first go, and people feared for their lives that I was going to hit them, until I choked up on the broomstick a bit! I also may or may not have hit the wall. But don't worry, my little nick in the wall was soon forgotten because Missy was next and she hit the wall with such force that it left 3 marks! Megan was last, and being as Missy and I warmed it up for her, the pinata broke on her turn. She didn't actually break it though. One of the girls tapped it with her foot and goodies came spewing out! So, that was super fun, and the dancing was super fun, and the after-drive with Patrick and our stupidity and confusion when it came to parking was super fun. Oh man!
Mom went to Canada on Monday, and Mitchel had his last lacrosse game of his high school career last night, since he'll be out of town for playoffs this weekend. So sad that we don't get to go to any more games. They're so much fun. Oh, and Mitch made a goal at his last game too. Woot, woot! (He's number 18)
We "helped" mom pack before she left. Grandma did this! Matt wasn't thrilled. Why?! :)

I cannot believe Mitchell is old enough to have a prom-night! Holy cow. And I think Jonas looks cute like that! Hee hee! (Sorry Matt!)
So sad to hear about your grandma, I hope your weekend goes ok. I'll be thinking of you and your family.
And I hate sounding old, but really, as if Mitchell is graduating...I haven't seen him since he was like 6 and that is how he still is in my head!
I didn't even know that you took pictures at the cinco de mayo party. Nice. We are the bomb. Dude your little brother looks so handsome in his tuxedo with his date. I am totally going to marry him one day. Don't worry he will come around and want to marry me too. But I miss you and am glad you are coming home tonight. This weekend just wasn't the same without you. Love ya.
