Oh Sweet Mercy

So, this last week was actually super crazy for me. Tuesday night my friend Ashley went through the temple for the first time. It was her 3 year anniversary from her baptism, which was pretty cool. Wednesday night my friend Kaitlin went through, which was also very sweet. I love being able to see my friends in the temple! It was awesome! Then, Thursday night it was Ashley's bachelorette dinner, so we went to Agave and it was a blast! We were all supposed to bring a pair of panties for her, wrapped, without a card, and then she was going to choose her favorite pair. Missy and I thought it would be funny to get her a rather large pair. So, Missy went to Wal-Mart and found some big'ens, and bought an iron on bedazzled patch that said LOVE. We also got her some really small Little Mermaid ones. Oh man, her face was priceless when she opened them. She instantly knew it was us, though. Darn it!

Patrick came home Thursday also, so on Friday we went to sushi at a place we hadn't tried before, called Kobe, and it was super good. We also got boba tea before that, so it was a fantastic night! Then to top it off, Joni came in to town for Kaitlin's reception, so I picked her up from the airport and we played all night! Megan, Missy, and Patrick came over and we all played SingStar, which is this super fun karaoke game on PS2. Oh man. It was so funny at times, there were real tears in my eyes! Everybody ended up leaving around 4:30 am, and then Joni and I stayed up until after 6:00 am talking. Sweet mercy! I only got about 2 hours of sleep because Ashley was getting sealed at noon, and Kaitlin was getting sealed at 1:00p.

All I want to say about SingStar is thanks so much for not taking any pictures of me whilst I was singing! Ok, so I went to the sealings, slept for an hour, and then ran errands with Joni. Then I went to the receptions. They were both really nice, and really fun. I saw a lot of old friends, but by the end of the night I was exhausted! I can only imagine how the bride and groom must have felt! Anyway, everyone ended up coming over and hanging out at Joni's again after the receptions, but we were all super tired. Joni and I were still in dresses, so I asked for something a little more comfortable, and this is what she gave me. Nice!

These are definitely the "lucky draw's" that Joni wears when she goes snowboarding - and the shirt is in full support of one of her favorite singers, Josh Groban. All in all, not a bad outfit. I do look pretty hot! Oh, and to top my weekend off, I finally finished Harry Potter Book 6, thus completing the series until July 21, 2007 when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows comes out. I'm not gonna lie, I may have cried at the end of Book 6. Anyone who has read them will understand though!

You are too funny! You remind me of Breann tons, dressing up in the long-johns! Breann and her roommates bought giant onesie jammies so I have seen similar pictures!

I'll ask Breann where she got them! And I love that you are going to floral design school - I always wanted to do that! (And Cake-decorating!) haha!

I think those undies would be just about right for me these days! Maybe I'll go do some jumping jacks right now and see what I can do about getting this guy out!
