I can't believe I haven't blogged about this yet, but Megan and I went up to Brighton a couple of weekends ago to enjoy our first runs of the snowboard season and it was amazing! We had so much fun playing with friends we rarely get to see, and the snow was awesome! I think they got like 40" of fresh powder the night we got there, and my little car handled like a champ in the storm! There were a couple of scary times on the road during the weekend, but Prudence drove smart and pushed on through. I'm so proud! single tear. Anyway, we had a blast with Dave and Jeff and we were total vagabonds, staying with whoever would have us! I was a little sad that we didn't get to spend more time with Megan's family, because that will be the last Utah trip I take until I get back from Portland. Sad. :( Anyway, even though the resort was super crowded and we really only took a couple of runs before spending the rest of the day pushing cars back on to the road, and snowmobiling - and getting thrown off the snowmobile - it was a fantastic first day of the season!
