What is more fun than the NFR (National Finals Rodeo) in Las Vegas? The NFR in Las Vegas with my Grandpa Heggie! So, I am fortunate enough to have a very giving father who loves to serve others, and in return gets free stuff! My dad has some really good friends who have access to NFR tickets every year and they are kind enough to share them with our family. I wasn't sure if I was going to get to go this year because everyone in my family had already gone and it was nearing the end of the week. BUT, lo and behold, my mom and I, and Grandpa got tickets for Thursday night, which just so happened to be Canadian night! Oh Canada! It was soooo much fun! I've never sat by Grandpa at a Rodeo before and I'm not sure why, because it's the best seat in the house. He was telling me all about how the different events are technically scored, which I didn't really know, regardless of how many rodeos I've been to. He was was also telling me about each rider and their injuries, histories, etc, and also about all of the horses/bulls. It was probably one of the best nights of my adult life. I don't really get to spend a lot of time with my Grandpa because he lives in Canada, but I had a really good time and I'm so glad I got to share in something he loves so much. We had a lot of fun. Did I mention we had awesome seats 6 rows up from the bull chutes also? Yeah.

I am jealouse that you got to go...and on Canada night no less. Go figure. I have never been to a rodeo. It looked like you had a blasty blast.
Oh my goodness...I have always wanted to go to the NFR in Vegas! Bah! Next time you get free tix, let me know! I will SO BE THERE! How fun. I miss that kinda stuff. Oh well, July 1st will be here before you know it!
THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE IS ALWAYS BY DAD - GRANDPA - HE KNOWS EVERYTHING THATS GOING ON AND MAKES THE RODEO SO MUCH MORE FUN.
IT'S GREAT TO HAVE A DAD- GRANDPA THAT LIKES TO SHARE IS KNOWLEDGE OF SOMETHING THAT HE LOVES SO MUCH WITH YOU TOO, IT MAKES YOU APPRECTIATE HIM FOR EVEN MORE REASONS - HE'S THE BEST !!!
