Ok, so every once in a while, I think...I know, rare and frightening, but it happens. Today is one of those thought days. First of all, I was thinking that I really need to get better about this blog thing and do it every week like Lindsay does. It really isn't hard to keep up on.
Anyway, so I feel like I need to give a little update on life. Megan and I went up to Utah for Presidents weekend, and they got some pretty good snow, so we took advantage and did a day at Snowbird, and a day at Brighton. Man it was fantastic! The snow was nice, and the weather was beautiful! We had our vents open on our jackets and pants both days. Sweet mercy, we saw some pretty interesting people at both resorts too. The winner for best ski suit at Snowbird went to some 40-year old guy on skis in a leopard print helmut, matching one-piece ski suit, and to top it all off...a matching leopard cape, flowing in the wind! We tried to get the camera out fast enough, but we were on the lift. Oh man! There were a lot of really interesting outfits at Brighton the next day, and it was hard to choose, but the winner for best ski suit, and also most creative at Brighton, went to some 40-year old guy on skis, with a windbreaker-type jacket on...with a big gulp stuffed in the pocket. That's right! Forget camel packs, my friends, just shove your big gulp in your pocket and ride! Seriously. So anyway, we had a ton of fun riding both days. Dave and his little sister joined us at Brighton on Saturday, and it was very entertaining. We love Dave!
We realized while we were in Utah that we have more friends there, than we do in Vegas. Pathetic. So, we had fun with our friends, and Megan's family, and then the day that we were supposed to drive home, we woke up to 6 inches of new snow. Fantastic. Just what I wanted to drive home in. Megan and I are always a little nervous on slick roads since the accident last year, so we drove slowly and eventually made it home, but believe me it got scary around Cedar.
Ok, so after the snowboard trip to Utah, Jonas got blessed, which I already blogged. I think I mentioned that I didn't make it to the Mexico trip because of the blessing too. It's ok. There's another one in April I am going to for sure.
Here's the thing, I was really counting on going on the Mexico trip in February, because I didn't think I was going to be in Vegas in April. Turns out that my plans to possibly move to Canada were changed. You know how it is. It feels right at first, but the more you really look into it, it just doesn't feel right. That's what happened. So needless to say, I'm staying in Vegas for a little while longer.
Ok, I'm not sure if anyone really cares what my life plans are now, so if you don't then just stop reading, but if you do...keep reading! I'm planning on heading to Europe with Joni this summer and having an absolute blast, and then my plan is to go to either Portland or Seattle (I need to visit each one and see how I feel about both) and go to floral school because I've always wanted to open my own flower shop. It's a short program, so I'll probably only live in one of those places for a little while, unless I really like it. The floral thing just seems like a really good idea to me because I don't think I'm too shabby at it, and it's something that I can do when I'm a mom too. Have my own business out of my house, or something. That's the plan. My next plan is to take the GRE and go to Grad School. I have been feeling really stupid lately not being in school, and it's time I went back. I'm just not sure which direction I want to go in now. I have my BA in Psychology, but I'm not sure where I want to take it from there. I guess I'll figure that out.
Ok, I'm reading the Harry Potter books and let me tell you, they're amazing!! I can't believe it's taken me so long to jump on the wagon. They're soooo good! I have become one of those nerds too who wants a wand, plays the trivia game online, and has found out which house they're in (Gryffindor of course!). Man, I will admit that I'm sad I didn't start reading them when Michael was home and he kept begging me too. Now I wish he was home so we could discuss!
Oh, and I've definitely become a huge fan of Wicked too. I haven't seen the production yet, but Megan and Missy and I are planning on going to see it in LA in the next couple of months. We have the whole soundtrack memorized and it's a must to sing it on all road trips. Tradition, really.
Enough of my nerdiness, one last thing...I think I mentioned at the beginning of the year that 2007 was going to be a great year, and it was going to be full of change. Well, I've decided that since I'm turning 25 this year, it might be time to start dating again! I mean, let's be honest, I haven't had a boyfriend for like 3 years or something. Sadly, it's been so long I can't even remember. But seriously, I love being single and I've learned a lot in past years, but sometimes it's nice to have somebody to cuddle with, or somebody you're dying to tell everything to, or someboy who actually cares about what you're saying and will laugh at the retarded things you say and do every day. Just a thought. When I stroll down memory lane, I remember how fun it is to date someone. It might be a good change to start looking now. Ok, so that's the end of my random thought bubbles for today...I promise I'll keep up on my blog so I won't have to do this!

Can't belive your an aunt! Wow, Mitchel sure has grown since I saw him last.
Ok, first of all, as soon as you said the about the lepard suit i hurried and scrolled for a picture, shucks, but I'm still laughing. Your plans sound so fun and exciting. If someone would have told me when were 10 and playing barbies this is where we would be 15 years later, i would not have believed it. Me prego with #2 and you off travelling and pursuing your dreams! As for Harry Potter, i was so crazy like that too about 6 years ago. Your smart to just be getting into it now, because you can read them all in a row, and the last one comes out in July. Sorry for the long comment, just gotta keep up! Oh and good luck with the dating, you'll be fighting them off!
