Mitchel had a lacrosse game last Tuesday playing Faith Lutheran, who is the second ranked team so they are determined to beat Bonanza. Unfortunately Bonanza lost by 2 points, but it's ok because they'll play them again this season. Thursday's game was against Centennial and Bonanza beat them in quadruple overtime. Too bad I missed that game.
So, Friday we went to a small party at our friend Josh's house and it was a blast! We had to leave early though to go play Bingo with Brian for his birthday. Brian won $50 and he was sooo excited! It was hilarious! Afterward, when we were walking out to the car, I was walking behind my friend Missy when she suddenly slipped and flailed around to catch herself on the car next to her. I looked down to see what she had stepped on, and when I saw what it was she and I were laughing so hard we couldn't breathe. A banana. Seriously. Like the cartoons. If she hadn't been next to that car she would have gone down! O'doyle Rules!
Saturday I went to my friend Kaitlin's bridal shower and it was beautiful and so much fun. I'm so excited for her, because she's marrying the nicest guy. Awww.
I watched The Secret with my mom Saturday afternoon and it was really good. There are a lot of things in there that can be tied to gospel principles. It talks about how we're in control of our own happiness, and so my new goal is to remember to always be positive. Sometimes I struggle with that at work.
Saturday night we went out and did karaoke for Brian's continued birthday celebration and it was hilarious! Missy and Josh did a duet to Total Eclipse of the Heart and it was fantastic!!
I got a new calling on Sunday that I'm super excited about, but I can't tell until they sustain me in two weeks. ;) Luckily I get to keep teaching RS and do my new calling. Whew! I'm super stoked to go to conference with Megan this weekend, too.
What blog entry would be complete without a picture of my adorable nephew?! Isn't he getting so big? I love his cute little jeans.

Keeks looks so cute! Oh and so do you, by the way. Oh, and so does Jonas (as usual). I am excited about your new calling, even though you can't tell me about it. I'm happy things are going so well for you! The Europe trip will be the cherry on top. :)
