Relaxing Weekend...

The girls are all in DC this weekend so I had to entertain myself. Boo for that! Just kidding. I had kind of a relaxing weekend, which was nice. I took half the day off Friday and hung out with my friend Chad, who was in town on business from Detroit. I haven't seen him since college, so it was really fun to see him again. We went and got sushi and it was tasty! Then later Friday night I watched the Warnick's girls. Alli had her friend Siri come over, so they were well entertained all night, and the babies were sooooo good! They're becoming more fun to play with now that they're getting older too. They were both cracking me up while they were awake. So fun!

Saturday I prepared my lesson for RS, and then went to my friend Ashley's bridal shower. It was really nice, and a lot of fun. I saw an old friend from high school, and Ashley got some really great stuff for her new married life! I'm so excited for her and Aaron. Oh, and I met Aaron's mom - loved her! I feel as if she and I are kindred spirits. We're the only ones, besides her daughters, who got Ashley somewhat trashy stuff. The shower was a blast!

Anyway, so Saturday night Heather's brother, Jeff, and her mom were in town, so we went out for sushi and then went and saw Mystere. It was really good and I had a lot of fun hanging out with them. It was good to see them. Too bad Heather couldn't come. :(

My lesson went really well on Sunday, and church was really good. Sadly though, I was beginning to think I had the best immune system in the world, but I started getting achy and my throat started hurting worse last night, and I'm afraid I'm getting one of the diseases that's been floating around our death house over the past few weeks. Hopefully it will pass quickly! Oh man, Matt and Renee and Jonas came over for dinner, as they do every Sunday, and Renee had dressed Jonas in one of the little Sunday outfits I got him. Don't worry, he looks adorable!!! We even got some Risky Business shots too!

I swear he goes comatose every time he's around me. But seriously, how cute is that outfit?
