Ok, so I have issues - I'm fully aware of this. I am by no means extremely tall, but I'm 5'7'', which is supposedly "average height." I don't really believe it is though. I think the average is shorter. Clearly there are many girls who are much taller than me, and very secure with their height. I am not! I love to wear high heels and I love to be tall, but then I have issues with being too tall sometimes. Wha?? I clearly can't decide.Anyway, I have to admit that I struggle with my height sometimes and feel like I get looked over by the dude department because I'm not 5'2". It doesn't even matter how tall the dude is either, I have a syndrome where I think they all pick the little ones and I have to admit that sometimes I feel like Big Rhonda on That 70s Show! Am I the only one that sometimes wishes I was about 3" shorter?

yes, you are weird. i'm 5'6", i think i'm average. i ALWAYS wanted to be 5'8" for some reason. you're not even close to big rhonda, are you kidding me? who wants to be short? no thanks. if guys are intimidated by it, then i say whimps if that intimidates him. i hate looking up at people. i had a couple 5'0"-5'ish friends at work and i got such a rush talking to them when i looked down. ok, maybe i just said to much and i have some complex where i like to make short people. inferior.
Okay I am so on the same level as you. I feel the exact same way and it doesn't help that my husband is only an inch and a half taller than me. I always felt that guys went for shorter girls and am not tall. I am maybe 5'6". Maybe it's just in our heads and we have issues with our height. Geez girls are silly!
I'm not much help. I'm only 5'4" and I married a guy who is 6'4". I like being short.
That being said, I know a few tall guys who refused to date short girls. And there is a big downfall to being short, any weight you put on is sooo much more noticeable than if you are taller.
Your are so funny! I would say your are average. I'm 5'6", camille I think is 5'8" and Jarom not very tall so she might agree with you on that. But then again Jake is 6'4" so I never thought about it.
Well if your average then I am short! I am 5'3". I think of myself as a tall person. Maybe because my Ry is 6'6". Sometimes Ryan and I are out and I will say "that girl is sooo short!" Ryan looks at me laughs as he says "she is taller than you"

To everyone who is tall...be thankful the taller you are the more weight you can hide. I gain 2 pounds and you can tell.
oh I am 5'7" too, & well I've always thought it has been pretty perfect, but I don't wear a lot of heels either.
I am so there I am almost 5'8 and I feel like big Rhonda sometimes. But man tall girls are hot!!!!
Well I'm 5'8" and I love being tall, it makes me feel skinny. Plus you don't get as big when you are preggo! Oh and my hubby is 5'7 1/2" and I still love being tall.
Melissa--I think I have the opposite syndrome as you. I am shorter (5'4") and I have always hated it. My sisters are all tall and I always felt like I was missing out because the guys were checking them out and not me. I guess the grass is always greener!
