Romantic or Creepy?

Ok, I have to put up a new post because I'm getting really tired of looking at the same stuff all the time, so I'm sure you are too. My sis-in-law is in town for Thanksgiving and Mitchel's farewell, so we decided to go see Twilight together the other night with our friend Camille. We've all read the books, and we liked them, but I wouldn't say that any of us were obsessed with them by any means. Well...I'm sure you ladies have all seen it and I just have to say that we laughed through the whole thing, probably ruining it for those around us. Oops, sorry! We couldn't help it though!
Edward was more on the creepy side than the hot side, and the whole time I couldn't even focus on if he actually looked attractive or not bc I was trying to figure out what color of lipstick he was wearing. What a fabulous shade! Bella looked like she had tourettes syndrome bc she was so jittery and shifty the whole time. Poor thing - they didn't even mention her condition in the books. Jasper had approximately one facial expression, which was slightly reminiscent to a particular SNL skit that Renee and I find amusing. Carlisle - again creepy, not hot. Anyway, so it was a valiant effort, totally entertaining, and I will probably sit out any makings of more books.

Haha! I pretty much agree with that! I thought the best part of the movie was the Harry Potter preview. Did you see it? It was awesome! I can't wait until July.

No, no... Jasper looked like Edward Scissorhands. Not that I saw the Twilight movie. Really, I just heard that from somebody. Shoot.

Yeah, it wasn't as good as I hoped, we all had a lot of laughs. Jasper totally reminded me of Edward Scissorhands too!! I could not stop laughing at him everytime he came on! Maybe the next one will be better.....?

you are such a riot!!! I have not seen the movie cause I didn't care too much for the books (entertaining, but way over the top on cheesy), but after your review I really want to see it! Just for the laughs! Of course, I'd have to be careful of who I watch it with... why don't you come up and we'll go see it together?

I'm not gonna lie...I liked the movie! I know, I know. I guess I had low expectations going into it, so I wasn't super disappointed. The first scene was a little weird with Edwards' lipstick but it got better for me and then he was hot. Bummer you didn't like it.

I liked the movie, but you're right--Edward was nowhere near being hot! And, ha ha, HE looks like Edward Scissorhands! I thought Jasper was better looking than Edward and that
s not saying much. The book went on and on about how beautiful Rosalie was and even SHE wasn't that great looking. I think Alice was the only one who looked like I thought she should!
I'd give the movie a C+. Not terrible, not great. better than many movies I've seen, though!

Oh, and Robyn, about the lipstick thing. Maybe he'd just had dinner -- if you know what I mean!

Ha HA I had to laugh at this cause I totally agree! I felt bad for the people around me cause I was either laughing or groaning...let's face it some scene's were painful to watch!!! but having said that my one true love is still the books, The low budget movie can't change that. Oh yah did you notice that some scenes Edward had like tons of white makeup on and then in another scene oops they forgot the make up hahaha

I have not seen it for that very reason. I haev heard nothing but terrible things. Come on people, don't you know how to make a good movie?

I agree! I wasn't feeling the movie! At least you had someone to laugh and poke fun of the movie with because my friends that I was with actually thought it was good, which is beginning to make me question there judgement. :)
