Long Overdue!

Holy crap! Remember the time when I used to be able to blog at work and I was sooo good at keeping you all updated on my pathetic life? Yeah, no longer. I actually have to work at my job. Work! AND I usually end up working late just to keep my neck above the ridiculous swamp of paperwork I usually find myself in. Bleh! Where's my rich millionaire husband??

So...let's see...we last left off when I went to the greatest concert ever. Don't worry that I may or may not be going to see them again in Salt Lake this weekend. Wha?? No I'm not! (I am)

Anyway, so enough of that. I honestly can't remember what I've done lately, so here it goes. In my attempt to skip dressing up for Halloween this year, and to experience the greatest white trash event ever (Punkin Chunkin!), I scooted off to DC.

The weather was amazing!! The fall colors were so beautiful from the plane, and I kept thinking that the trees looked like colored brocolli. OR *Nerdalert* the evergreens looked like rods, and the deciduous trees looked like cones...as in the eye. Yeah. Nerd.

Anyway, so I spent 5 days over there spending some quality time with my bestest friend and her boyfriend, and their hilarious friends. We had sooo much fun!

We went to Arlington Cemetery on Halloween day - yes it's a cemetery, but no it's not scary. It's actually quite the opposite. It was pretty cool, and neither of us had been. We had amazing views of the city, and we watched the changing of the guards.

After the cemetery we did a little shopping, and bought some fantastic eyelashes for our party later that night. In the midst of our getting ready for the "all black" party, we realized that Joni was looking very Amy Winehouse-esque, so we went with it.

To Be Continued...in the next post. :)

Oh, and p.s. Did you notice that I'm a brunette now? Yup. Apparently I've denied my roots for the next 4-6 weeks.

Sounds like a blast... How I miss traveling. Oh BTW do you have any big plans for Twilight? I don't want to force Matt to go with me so I thought if You wanted to maybe we could find a time while we're there. I don't know if there'll be any time, it'll be a busy few days. Anyway I really can't wait to get there, a change of scenery will be wonderful.

LLOOOOOOVE THE HAIR! I think cemetaries are beautiful, peaceful, and can be spiritual. You are a traveling woman!
