I've had a lot of really, really ridiculously good friends in my life. Seriously. I've been thinking a lot about my friends lately and how lucky/blessed I've been to have such good friends who have made me who I am. So, even though I'd absolutely looove to write a full out blog about each and every one of my friends - and I really could - I decided to reduce it to a few of my "best friends" that I've had throughout my whole life. Sometimes I hate the phrase "best friends" bc I feel like I could put a lot of my friends in that category, but just go with it!

Lindsay and I met on the monkey bars (I think) in the 1st Grade and was my best friend for pretty much my whole childhood. Crazy to think that even after all these years we still keep in touch and see each other from time to time. Lindsay is soooo much fun, can talk your ear off any day, has the cutest little family, and is the best mom ever! Sometimes I get really sad that she's all the way up in Canada, but I'm glad she's a really good blogger so I never lose track of what she's up to.

I know I look retarded in this picture, but I wanted the most recent one! Robyn and I met in the 9th grade and we were inseperable through high school (along with the rest of our "Six Babe Bandits! haha!), and remained best friends through college even though we were in seperate states. Robyn can make you laugh 'til you cry with her amazing stories! She married the coolest guy, who also cracks me up, and is expecting her first little one in a few weeks. I'm sooo excited to be an auntie to a little girl! Robyn is one of the most compassionate people I know and can literally make friends with anyone!

Again...not a great picture, but the most recent one of Joni and I. It really wouldn't matter anyway, bc we have never in our entire friendship taken a "normal" picture together, as we discovered when we were trying to pick one for her wedding website! So, although Joni was one of the first friends I made in Las Vegas, and we were friends all through high school, we didn't reach "best friends" status until we both graduated from college and moved back home. Joni is one of the smartest and most determined people in the world! She always knows just what to say and when to do some crazy dance move to make you laugh! She's about to marry an amazing guy and start their new law lives here in Las Vegas. I'm soooo excited for her to be living close to me again!

Alright, I'm just realizing that I don't take the best pictures. Oh well! So, clearly this is my madre. I'd have to say we met before birth, and she was my best friend even through all the other friends. We've definitely had our moments through all of my snotty teenage years, and she deserves a medal for putting up with my independant nature my whole life. She (and my dad) have been my biggest fans, my greatest support, and the most giving and sacrificing people in my life. My mom and I have a special relationship and I'm very grateful that she's always been there.

Wow, thanks for making me cry. I am honored/shocked to be in your "Best Friends" blog! I really don't remember the bad stages, you have been a joy to me! Love you! Mom
I cannot believe you have so many friends from when you were younger! So lucky! I don't even know where people are anymore!
Ahhh...I have a little tear right now! I love that no matter how far apart we live we are always going to be bffs. Love it! You are the best girl! Love you!
well this is just too cute. not so much the picture of me, but the post is too cute. i like to think we really had something going on right there way back on those monkey bars. so so so many memories. i love that we really are still friends after all these years. (minus a few years hiatus waiting for technology advances to bring us back together again.) and oh dear, i really can talk, i hope you don't mind...
