Whew! Apparently if you finally say something and get your feelings out, and your wonderful friends make uplifting comments, you can start to dig out of your rut! I was thinking about it after I wrote that last post and the one thing that I haven't been doing was saying my morning prayers. I've always struggled with that, but I've really been making an effort the past few days and I can tell it's making a difference. Thanks a bunch to those who wrote comments. You have no idea how much better that made me feel!
I came across this today in my email and thought it was totally appropriate. That Elder Bednar sure is a smart guy!
"There may be things in our character, in our behavior, or concerning our spiritual growth about which we need to counsel with Heavenly Father in morning prayer. After expressing appropriate thanks for blessings received, we plead for understanding, direction, and help to do the things we cannot do in our own strength alone." -- David A. Bednar, "Pray Always, Ensign," Nov. 2008, 41
